At Panther Armada, our mission is simple yet profound: to rebuild lives, restore hope, and strengthen communities in the wake of devastating natural disasters.

We are committed to acting swiftly and compassionately, ensuring that every family, every individual, and every community member we touch feels supported and empowered on their path to recovery. Guided by our slogan, "We Go Do Good," we focus on practical, hands-on solutions that deliver real, lasting impact where it’s needed most.

  • Stuart Harmon

    CEO

    Stuart grew up in the deep south with ties to Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. His love was all things New Orleans and all things Cajun. When Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. Stuart was one of the first responders on site. He practiced law for over 20 years and is now retired.

    Among other things, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the Panther Armada. Wherever you find Stuart, you’ll also find his dog Ziggy Marley close behind. He cannot cook, he cannot dance, but his purpose in life is to ask, “How may I serve YOU?”

  • Clara Zander

    COO

    Clara Zander serves as the COO of Panther Armada and Volunteer & Operations Coordinator for Grassroots AID Partnership. A lifelong farmer with degrees in Sustainable Agriculture and Conservation Biology from Warren Wilson College, Clara launched her own livestock farm, managing 200 acres solo for years. She now co-owns Wild Way Consulting, helping land managers nationwide optimize systems and efficiency.

    Clara’s deep roots in agriculture inspire her passion for community resilience, which she brings to Panther Armada’s relief efforts. When not organizing aid or consulting, Clara is also a professional dancer.Tracy holds degrees from the Yale School of Public Health and American University’s School of International Service. She co-founded and directed Yale’s first student wellness center, the Good Life Center. Beyond her professional pursuits, Tracy enjoys baking sourdough bread and sharing “love language loaves” made with locally grown flour from North Carolina.

  • Anthony Taylor

    Project Coordinator & Director of Logistics

    Anthony Taylor is the Project Coordinator and Director of Logistics for the Panther Armada. Coming from a background of power generation, electrical and mechanical engineering, he will oversee any technical issues that need to be addressed. In addition to teaching, Anthony has years of experience finding and implementing solutions. 

    Anthony has over the last 25 years volunteered with many non-profit and community driven initiatives to help serve his communities, and he actively supports grassroots initiatives. 

  • Dominique Lavoie

    Director of Habitat4Helene

    As the Director of Habitat4Helene, I bring over 30 years of experience as a residential remodeling contractor, where problem-solving is a cornerstone of the profession. My expertise spans nearly all construction trades, enabling me to manage projects with a comprehensive, hands-on approach. I am deeply committed to collaborating with individuals and groups who are eager to contribute, fostering teamwork and shared purpose in every endeavor.
